Hi friends! I can’t believe it’s been a month since I last blogged! So much has happened since my last post, and I am so excited to share everything with you! In the past month, I worked with Le’etoile de Paris Styling to capture a ballet inspired engagement shoot, I hosted a gorgeous Sweetheart Session at Tait Tree Farm, and on a more personal note, I got engaged!
Today I’m talking about my ballet styled shoot featuring Elizabeth of Le’etoile de Paris Styling, and her fiancé, McAndrew! We met up at 4D Art Studio in Maryland, after having toured wedding venues with my fiancé in my hometown. This was a really interesting space filled with colored walls and bright lights, making it the perfect place for two creatives to meet! Elizabeth, having previously been a professional dancer, was such an elegant and graceful model! In her own pointe shoes and a lush tulle skirt, she glided through the session as though she was doing her own delicate dance.
Looking at these images full of lush greens, I have to brag for a moment. Would you have guessed that this all took place in an office park?! I point this out because it shows that you can find beauty anywhere, at any venue! For any brides who might be concerned about getting the perfect shots at their wedding, do not stress! Your photographer should scope out locations and find something beautiful and unique just for you!
Elizabeth styled her bouquet for this shoot, which came out beautifully! These lilies are perfection paired with the purple of the tulle and her lush jacket. Elizabeth and McAndrew are such a fun couple. They were flexible, open to ideas (including me draping them in tulle!), and overall enjoyable to work with!
