In case you’re wondering why you haven’t seen

In case you’re wondering why you haven’t seen a ton of content from me lately, it’s not because I don’t want to share what I’m working on and projects I started at the beginning of the pandemic with you all, but I’ve just become incredibly overwhelmed lately. Some of you are new here, and may not now that I also work as a postpartum nurse in addition to being a professional photographer! The first half of this year was a struggle with not being able to do either of my passions -nursing or photography and was completely devastating. Now that things have opened back up, I’ve gone from sitting on my couch coming up with new ways to serve my clients to testing people for COVID-19 M-F, and it’s physically and mentally exhausting. Not because it’s difficult to do, but because there has just been not middle ground between being furloughed and being full time. Today because of the rain, my coworker and I had to don trash bags over our PPE so that we wouldn’t get soaked, and if I don’t laugh and find the humor in it, I will definitely cry. On top of it all my husband and I are trying to buy our first house, and deal with the fact that we haven’t seen our family since Christmas, as well as multiple health issues. So please bear with me while I try to navigate my new “normal”, and please for the love of God wear a mask!
